Colloidal Silver for Colds and Flu

Colloidal Silver is a health supplement that is made by immersing small particles of silver in a colloidal base solution. It is a safe and highly effective natural liquid antibiotic and anti-inflammatory that is used for colds and flu, respiratory problems, viruses, to kill germs, etc. Colloidal Silver also boosts the immune system and is virtually odorless and tasteless.

Colloidal Silver is available at health food stores and online. It is very effective and will last a long time.

How to Take Colloidal Silver

• Take one dropper full by mouth, under the tongue, 2-3 times a day. Hold for 30 seconds before swallowing.
• Add 5-6 drops to a vaporizer. Keep it running and close by at all times, especially while sleeping.
• Add a dropper full to a large spray bottle, filling the rest with filtered water. Use to wipe down surfaces in your home.
• Add a dropper full to a purse-size spray bottle, filling the rest with filtered water. Spritz a small amount onto your face, allowing the silver and water mixture to get into your nose and eyes. Keep it with you and use it throughout the day. This can also be used as an antibacterial spray at work, while shopping, or in public areas where germs are rampant.

Raw Honey for Colds and Flu

Used for literally thousands of years, raw honey has played a major role in natural health and healing. Raw honey benefits are far and wide, as it contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, and phytonutrients. Use alone or, for even more benefit, in one of the recipes below to soothe your symptoms and promote health.

If you know of an ethical bee keeper in your area, this would be an ideal source for local honey. If not, try this delicious option from Amazon. Be sure to always get raw, unprocessed honey.

How to Use Raw Honey for Flu and Colds

Raw Honey and Cinnamon – At the first signs of a cold or flu, stir together 1 tsp each of raw honey and cinnamon, and consume 3-4 times a day.
Raw Honey and Lemon Syrup – For a cold, sore throat, cough, or flu. Stir together 2 Tbsp raw honey, 1 Tbsp lemon juice, and enough hot water for a syrupy consistency. Use it 3 times a day and at bedtime.
Raw Honey and Apple Cider Tea – When you feel cold or flu symptoms, stir together 1 Tbsp raw honey, 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, and 1-2 drops pure ginger essential oil, and 1 cup very warm water.

Essential Oils for Flu Symptoms

Plant extracts which are processed through steam distillation or cold pressing, essential oils have been used for thousands of years for their health and emotionally uplifting properties. The purest essential oils are far more powerful and effective than dry herbs, delivering quick and effective results.

I have used the big name MLM brands of essential oils, and was very pleased with them. However, I am now using Revive Essential Oils, which, in my experience, are just as effective for a fraction of the price.
