This will give your body the nutrients it needs, first thing, while also giving it time to “wake up”.

So, let us take a closer look.

Sliced Bananas

Bananas

These tropical jewels are rich antioxidants, fiber, and potassium. They help support healthy kidney function and may lower the risk of kidney stones and high blood pressure. Bananas are also good for heart health, digestion, and weight control.

Furthermore, bananas add a thick and creamy texture to smoothies. We eat a lot of them around here!

Mango Slices

Mango

Another delicious tropical beauty, Mangoes are loaded with nutrients. Excellent source of vitamins A, C, B6, flavonoids and potassium. The peel is also rich in phytonutrients. They are good for heart health, healthy skin, and healthy vision. New studies show that mango protects from various types of cancer, including colon, breast, prostate, and leukemia.

I lovvvvvvve mangoes! Last summer, I was absolutely hooked and couldn’t get enough of them. They are so versatile — great on their own, in smoothies like this one, and even in salads!

Wild Blueberries

Wild Blueberries

Wild blueberries are vastly different from the larger cultivated blueberries we’ve seen in grocery stores for years. Wilds are smaller, but have much more flavor and also pack a big nutritional punch. They have a variety of natural phytochemicals and twice the antioxidants! They help protect against heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s.

Here in the US, wild blueberries from Maine are a great choice; they thrive in harsh growing conditions and therefore have more antioxidant protection. Wyman’s Wild Blueberries are my favorite – not only for the flavor and quality, but also for their work on the preservation of our natural resources.

Barley Grass Juice Powder

Barley Grass Juice Powder

Healthy Superfood Smoothie

One of the most powerful, nutrient-dense foods available to strengthen the immune system, alkalize the body, and cleanse the blood. Additionally, it helps to increase energy.

Barley Grass Juice Powder is abundant in nutrition, including amino acids, minerals, and vitamins A, B, and C. It is also high in chlorophyl, which improves general health and immunity.

I’m absolutely tipping my hat to all these healthy ingredients that come together so tastefully to create the Superfood Smoothie. It is one good, solid, kick-starting drink that you are going to love♡ And…it’s going to help you stay healthy.
